Espace Windshield Wipers Failure

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Espace, though a different year. Wipers stopped working, but everything else on the stalk was fine. Have you checked the plug connector to the wiper motor? Sometimes those can get corroded or loose.

You mean the connector right at the wiper motor? I was focusing on the switch and wiring harness near the steering column. Is it hard to get to? And were your wipers completely dead, like mine? No intermittent, no slow, just nothing?

Yep, the one at the motor. Access isn't too bad, but you might need to remove some plastic trim. And yeah, mine were completely dead, just like yours. Error code too. I'd still get it checked out by a workshop; in my case the cables or plug connection of the component was defective. Cost me about 95€ to fix, but at least it's working again.
