Essentia Washer System Failure
Summary of the thread
The headlight and windshield washers on a 2021 Chevrolet Essentia stopped working, prompting an inquiry about potential causes. Suggestions included checking the fuse, inspecting for kinks or clogs in the hose, verifying if the pump is receiving power, and examining the relay. Ultimately, the issue was identified as a defective cable connection to the pump, which was resolved at a repair shop.

Thanks! Where exactly is the pump relay located? I'm not super familiar with car electrics, but I can check it with a multimeter if I know where to find it. Also, where does the hose run? I can trace it.

It would be best if you went to a workshop for this, since you don't know where anything is. However, it's probably a defective cable connection of pump or relay. Good luck!

Thanks, I took it to the shop. It was a defective cable connection of the pump. Cost me 165€ to fix, but at least it's sorted!

That's strange! Sounds like something is up with the washer system if both aren't working. Could be a fuse, yeah, but have you checked for kinks or clogs in the hose leading to the pump? Or if the pump is getting power? Maybe the relay is toast.
