When you checked the wheel speed sensors, did you use an oscilloscope to analyze the signal output? And when you scanned the ECM, did the fault codes point to a specific sensor, or just the ABS control module?

I checked the sensors, but I'm not skilled enough to use an oscilloscope. The codes I got were vague, pointing towards a general ABS malfunction. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was the control unit.

Thanks for sharing. I'll consult a technician for a thorough evaluation. I suspect a similar defective control unit, potentially costing around 1000€. Thanks again for your help.

I had similar ABS light and traction control issues on my Estima. Did you check the wheel speed sensors first? A faulty sensor can cause the control unit to throw errors. Also, scan the ECM for ABS or speed sensor fault codes. That might give you a clearer direction before assuming the control unit is fully defective.
