Thanks! I haven't seen any noticeable engine knock, but my fuel economy does seem to be a bit worse than usual. The error code that came up was pointing to a possible defect with a cable or plug connection. Where should I be looking for this cable?

A defective cable or plug connection is a plausible cause, given the symptoms and error code. Begin by inspecting the wiring and connectors associated with the fuel composition sensor and the fuel injectors. Check for corrosion, loose connections, and damaged wires. Given the age of your Estima, it is advisable to consult a qualified mechanic for a comprehensive inspection and proper diagnosis. The mechanic will inspect the relevant wiring harnesses and fuel system components. Based on experience, I'd recommend that you do that.

Thanks! I took it to a local workshop, and they found a loose connection on one of the fuel injector plugs, just like you suggested. They cleaned and secured the connection, cleared the error code, and the check engine light is gone. The engine seems to be running much smoother now too! The repair cost me about 95€. I really appreciate the help!

It appears you're experiencing issues related to incorrect fuel composition. The error codes and symptoms you describe suggest the engine's fuel system isn't operating within expected parameters. Before considering additives, it's crucial to address the underlying cause. Have you noticed any engine knock, changes in fuel economy, or recently replaced the fuel filter? The error memory should provide a specific fault code. Can you provide that code? It will give us a better direction for investigation.
