Estima Temperature and Check Engine Light

Experiencing strange temperature display, check engine light, and slow warm-up on my 2015 Toyota Estima hybrid (164874 km). Could a restricted cooling grille be the problem?

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my Estima. Did you check the cooling grille fuse?

I haven't checked any fuses yet. Where would I find that fuse, and what amperage should it be?

I'm no expert on the fuse location, but in my case, it wasn't a fuse. My mechanic found a blockage restricting airflow. A trusted workshop for diagnosis is your best bet.

Took your advice and went to a mechanic. A blocked cooling grille was indeed the problem. Cost 52€ to fix, and the temperature sensor issue, check engine light, and slow warm-up are all gone now!
