The good news was that after the mechanic paid some attention to my Leon, the throttle valve fault got fixed up. I won't lie to you though, the whole thing wasn't exactly cheap as chips - it came to about 265.00 Euro to tackle the Accelerator Pedal Module along with the defective internal electronics. But I'd say every cent spent was well worth it because, since then, my car's been running like a champ with no problems.
