Expert Bluetooth Connection Issue

My smartphone won't connect to the infotainment system in my 2016 Peugeot Expert electric with 192k km. I've checked the error memory and there's a stored error. I've tried re-pairing several times, but no luck. I'm guessing it's something to do with incorrect pairing. Any ideas?

I have an Expert as well and experienced something similar! Was the connection previously stable, and did it coincide with any software revisions on your phone or the vehicle's system? Have you tried completely removing the device from the vehicle's Bluetooth list and starting fresh?

Yes, the connection was rock solid before. I don't recall any software revisions on the van itself. I have deleted the phone from the Bluetooth list on the van and tried to re-pair it from scratch multiple times. No dice. What did you do to fix yours?

Ah, okay. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty module that handles the Bluetooth connection. Sadly, it requires a visit to the workshop. They reconfigured the system and did a full reset. That solved it, but only the professionals could do it. I strongly recommend going to a professional workshop.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping it was something simple I could fix myself. I'll take it to the shop and see what they say. They mentioned a 45€ diagnostic fee. Hopefully it won't be too much more than that. Cheers!
