Expert electronic parking brake issue

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Expert. Is the error consistent, or does it come and go?

It is consistent, unfortunately. It does not go away even after resetting. Did you ever diagnose the source?

Yep, turned out to be exactly what you suspect: the motor in the caliper. I'd suggest a workshop visit to confirm. It can be tricky to diagnose without the right tools.

Thanks for confirming my suspicion. I took it to the shop and they said it was the electric motor in the brake caliper, just like we thought. Repair cost was 505€. At least I was prepared!
