Falcon Blower Motor Failure

Got a 2006 Ford Falcon with a gasoline engine here. Blower motor's completely dead. I suspect it's the AUC sensor, given the mileage (105978 km). Seems like a dodgy connection is the culprit. Anyone seen this?

Hey, I had something similar in my Falcon! Is the auto recirculation playing up? If so, yeah, could well be the AUC sensor. Those cabin air sensors are notorious for causing havoc. Have you checked the plug and cable connection?

Auto recirculation is playing up! Where exactly is the plug located? Any tips on getting to it without dismantling the whole dashboard?

Right, that seals it then. With the auto recirculation faulty, it's textbook AUC sensor problem. Unfortunately, accessing the plug is a pain; you'll need to get under the dash, near the HVAC unit. Honestly? Unless you're really confident, I'd let a workshop sort it. Trust me, you'll save yourself a headache.

Cheers! Took your advice and went to the shop. Faulty connection it was. New plug and sensor, 95€ all in. All sorted now.
