Falcon key battery issue

I'm having a weird issue with my 2014 Ford Falcon with a gasoline engine. The car keeps saying the key battery is low. Now the keyless access doesn't work. I'm also getting an error stored in the car's computer, and unlocking/locking is unreliable. Could it be something more serious than the key battery?

Thanks! No, I haven't replaced the battery yet. I wanted to check online first to see if there could be other reasons. If a low battery is the problem, can I fix it myself, or do I need a workshop?

It was the battery! I replaced it, and everything is back to normal. Keyless entry works, the car locks and unlocks perfectly, and after clearing the error memory (which cost me 37€ at the workshop) the error is gone. Thanks for the help!
