Fiat 500 Electric Radio Reception Issue

My 2019 Fiat 500 Electric's radio reception is shot. I get error messages, the audio cuts out, and the error memory is storing codes. I'm thinking it's the antenna. Anyone else seen this?

Summary of the thread

A 2019 Fiat 500 Electric owner experienced issues with radio reception, including error messages and audio cutouts, suspecting the antenna as the cause. Another person suggested checking the signal amplifier, as a faulty one could cause similar problems. Ultimately, the issue was resolved by replacing the defective antenna, restoring proper radio function.

That's weird. I had something similar in my old Opel Corsa, but it was a different issue. You checked the signal amplifier, right? Sometimes those go bad. Is it mostly static noise, or does the FM signal just disappear?

Signal amplifier? Where would I find that? And yeah, it's a mix of both – lots of static, and sometimes the signal vanishes. Could that still be the amplifier?

Could be. When mine went bad, it did all sorts of funky stuff. Honestly, with all the vehicle electronics these days, it's probably best to get it checked. Saved me a lot of headache.

Appreciate the tip! I took it to the shop; turns out the antenna was defective. A new one and 255€ later, and it's all sorted. Thanks again!
