The error is always present. I don't hear any unusual noises. Did you also have the same symptoms, like the error message and climate control malfunction?

Yep, same symptoms exactly! Honestly, I fiddled around a bit, but in the end, I just took it to a workshop. They found a loose connection, fixed it, and I was back in business. Is it worth the hassle of trying to fix it yourself, especially if you aren't an expert?

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local shop and they said the repair cost will be around 95€. Seems like it's the cable or plug connection after all.

Hey, sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Fiat 500. Is the error always present, or does it come and go? When the AC stops cooling, do you hear any unusual noises from the back? Could also be a fuse, did you check that?
