Summary of the thread
A 2006 Fiat Albea is experiencing combustion misfires, characterized by rough engine performance, a check engine light, jerking during acceleration, and reduced power. Thank you for your insight. Could you please elaborate on how you determined it was the fuel injector specifically? Were there any specific tests or symptoms that pointed you in that direction?

Certainly. Initially, I suspected the spark plugs, but after replacing them, the problem persisted. Then I took it to a workshop. They ran diagnostics and found that the injector on cylinder three was not spraying fuel correctly. A flow test confirmed the diagnosis. Given your symptoms, I'd recommend getting the injectors checked professionally.

I appreciate the advice. Following your suggestion, I had the fuel injectors inspected. You were correct; one was indeed defective. The repair cost 515€. Thank you again for your assistance.

I had similar issues with my Albea. Check engine light, rough running, the whole nine yards. Have you checked the fuel pump or spark plugs? When mine started misfiring, it turned out to be a faulty fuel injector. It might be worth investigating further.
