Fiat Bravo Poor Starting
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Fiat Bravo with a gasoline engine was experiencing poor starting issues, suspected to be due to an interrupted Terminal 30 continuous plus. The initial thought was a bad or heavily discharged battery. After considering potential causes like a faulty alternator or a short circuit, it was determined that the battery was indeed the problem. Replacing the battery resolved the starting issue.

Charging system seems okay, though I haven't done a deep dive. A short... where would I even start looking for something like that?

A short could be anywhere, honestly – fuse box, wiring harness, even a faulty circuit breaker. Without proper tools, chasing a short can be a nightmare. Honestly, with those symptoms and the age of the car, a workshop might be your best bet to diagnose it properly.

You're probably right. Bit the bullet and took it in. Turns out, the battery was indeed toast. New battery and all seems well now. Cost me 290€ Thanks for the advice!

Sounds like a pain! How old is the battery? Have you checked the charging system at all? Maybe the alternator isn't doing its job. Could also be a short somewhere draining the battery.
