Fiat Bravo Sunroof Calibration Error
Summary of the thread
The sunroof on a 2013 Fiat Bravo diesel is experiencing a 'not initialized' error, with the sunblind stuck and the convertible top not functioning. This issue is suspected to be related to recent coding changes. A diagnostic tool revealed a fault code linked to sunroof calibration. The recommended solution is to have the sunroof system professionally recalibrated, as improper calibration can lead to further issues.

Thanks! Yes, I have a diagnostic tool. It's showing a fault code related to the sunroof calibration. Did you fix it yourself or go to a shop? Do you remember the specific error code?

Okay, so I had the exact same calibration issue. I tried a few things myself, but I ended up taking it to a Fiat specialist. They recalibrated the sunroof system, and everything went back to normal. It's probably best to get it professionally sorted to avoid further issues with the BCM. An improper calibration can definitely lead to more headaches.

Thanks so much! I went to a local garage and asked them to recalibrate the sunroof. They did a complete reset of the sunroof system, and it cost 75€. Seems fixed now. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar problem with my Bravo. The error message was driving me nuts, and the blind was completely jammed. Do you have diagnostic tools to check the sunroof control module for error codes? That would help narrow it down.
