Fiat Doblo ABS Traction Control Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Fiat Doblo with 158,000 kilometers is experiencing ABS and traction control faults, with diagnostics indicating a speed signal issue. The problem may stem from a defective ABS control unit, as similar issues have been resolved by replacing this component. Before replacing sensors or the ECM, checking the ABS control unit could be a more effective solution. Ultimately, a workshop confirmed the ABS control unit was faulty, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the insight! Which control unit was faulty on your Peugeot? And did you have any odometer issues as well?

It was the ABS control unit itself. And yeah, I did notice some weirdness with the odometer readings occasionally. But the garage confirmed that the control unit was the culprit. I'd say get it checked out by a proper workshop – could save you a lot of headache. Looks like the same story, affected control unit defective

Appreciate the advice! The workshop confirmed the ABS control unit was faulty. Cost me about 1000€ to get it sorted, but at least the Doblo is back on the road. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my old Peugeot 308. ABS light, traction control going haywire... turned out to be a defective control unit messing with the speed signal. Have you checked the ABS sensors themselves? Could be worth a look before assuming the worst.
