Fiat Doblo Charge Air Temperature Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Fiat Doblo was experiencing a check engine light, power loss, and a whistling noise during acceleration, with a diagnostic scan indicating a charge air temperature sensor error. The initial inspection suggested the sensor and its connections appeared fine, but further advice pointed to potential issues with the cable or plug connection. Upon closer inspection, a faulty connection was identified and resolved at a local shop, restoring the vehicle's performance.

Thanks for the quick reply! When you say 'checking the cable and plug,' what exactly did you look for? Were there any telltale signs of damage or corrosion that I should be focusing on?

In my case, the error was indeed caused by a defective cable or plug connection. I'd suggest inspecting it for loose pins, corrosion, or damage to the insulation. Given your symptoms and the error code, it is highly probable. However, if you're unsure, it might be best to consult a workshop.

Took your advice and had a closer look at the wiring. You were spot on! The connection was indeed faulty. Ended up taking it to a local shop, and they sorted it out for 95€. Runs like a champ now! Thanks again for the help!

I had a similar issue with my Fiat Doblo, although I can't remember the exact year of manufacture. It also presented as a charge air temperature sensor error. I would recommend checking the cable and plug connection of the component again.
