Fiat Freemont rough running and stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Fiat Freemont with a gasoline engine was experiencing rough running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light intermittently turning on. The initial suspicion was a faulty fuel pressure sensor or a bad cable or plug. After consulting with others, it was suggested to check the error codes and inspect the wiring and connections. The issue was resolved by repairing a bad cable connection to the fuel pressure sensor, leading to improved engine performance.

Thanks. Your Opel issue with the fuel injector connection, did that happen suddenly, or did it get worse over time? Were there any other signs besides the check engine light?

It came on pretty fast. The check engine light was the only warning at first. Since you're getting codes related to the fuel pressure sensor, checking the wiring and connections is a good first step. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, a workshop might be best.

Thanks! Your experience really helped. I went to a workshop like you said. It was a bad cable connection to the fuel pressure sensor. The repair was 95€, and now it runs great!

That sounds frustrating! I had something similar with my old Opel, but it was a bad fuel injector connection. Did it affect your fuel economy? Check the error codes for the fuel pressure sensor and its wiring before you do anything else.
