Fiat Fullback DPF Pressure Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Fiat Fullback diesel is experiencing reduced power, engine warning light activation, smoke during acceleration, and a strong exhaust smell. Diagnostics indicate a 'Diesel particulate filter exhaust pressure too low' error. The issue is suspected to be related to a faulty exhaust back pressure sensor. A similar case confirmed the sensor as the cause, and professional inspection and repair resolved the problem.

Fuel consumption seems normal, and no strange noises. Just the smoke and the smell, plus the error code. Was it definitely the pressure sensor in your case?

Pretty sure it was. Although I tried a few things myself, I eventually took it to a workshop. They ran some proper tests and confirmed the pressure sensor was faulty. Best to get it checked professionally; exhaust systems can be tricky.

Thanks for the advice! I'll book it into a garage. Turns out it was indeed the exhaust back pressure sensor. Repair bill came to 245€. At least it's sorted now!

Sounds familiar. I had almost the same problem with my Fullback. Same symptoms – the warning light, sluggish performance. Did you notice any difference in fuel consumption or any weird noises from the exhaust system?
