Fiat Idea AUC Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Fiat Idea diesel experienced a blower motor failure, with diagnostics indicating a fault in the AUC sensor circuit, likely due to a cable or plug issue. The problem was confirmed to be a defective AUC sensor connection. The suggested solution was to inspect the sensor's plug, but due to accessibility challenges, professional repair was recommended. The issue was resolved with a replacement and labor costing 95€.

Thanks. The blower motor is entirely inoperative. Could you elaborate on the specific location of the sensor plug you inspected, and any observations regarding its condition? Any details would be appreciated.

Mine was completely dead too. I tried to fix it myself but the sensor is not easily accessible. I would recommend taking it to a workshop to be sure.

I also have a Fiat Idea and experienced something similar! Was it completely dead, or just working intermittently? It might be a loose connection. Check the sensor's plug first.
