Yeah, a scan would defo help pinpoint it. The sensor's usually near the thermostat housing. Honestly, though, chasing sensors can be a pain. If it were me, I'd bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. Could save you a headache.

I took the vehicle to a workshop for diagnostics. It was indeed a thermal management issue due to the cooling grille being restricted, as initially suspected. The repair cost was 52€. Thank you again for your input; it proved quite helpful.

Sounds familiar! I've got an Idea too, and had similar probs. Is the engine fan running like crazy even when the engine's cold? Could be a faulty temp sensor messing with the ECU.
