Fiat Linea Smartphone Pairing Issue

I'm experiencing function restrictions with my 2020 Fiat Linea diesel (34559 km). The smartphone cannot be connected, and an error is stored. I suspect it's due to incorrect pairing. Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

Summary of the thread

A 2020 Fiat Linea owner experienced smartphone pairing issues, suspecting incorrect pairing as the cause. Despite attempts to delete and re-establish connections, the problem persisted, with an error logged in the system. A workshop visit revealed it was indeed a pairing issue, resolved by a reset.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar problem with my old Renault Megane. The Bluetooth kept dropping, and the infotainment system was a mess. Did you try deleting all pairings and starting fresh? Sometimes that clears things up.

Yes, I attempted deleting all pairings and starting again, but the issue persists. Were the symptoms you experienced identical, and did the error memory also log the problem?

The symptoms weren't exactly the same, but the pairing problems were definitely there, and yes, the error memory was logging it. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Electrical faults can be tricky.

Thank you for confirming. I took your advice and visited a workshop. It was indeed a pairing issue that required a reset, costing 45€. Problem solved!
