Fiat Novo System Readiness Check Incomplete
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Fiat Novo displayed an incomplete system readiness check and a speedometer warning after an OBD2 diagnostic, raising concerns. The issue was linked to the diagnostic process itself, which triggered the check engine light. The solution involved resetting the system readiness using a diagnostic tool, which resolved the error and completed the checks successfully. This service was performed at a workshop at no cost.

Yes, the check engine light is on. Was it the same for you? Should I worry about getting a new emissions test?

Yeah, the check engine light was on for me too. I wouldn't sweat it too much. Just take it to a workshop and have them reset the system readiness. That fixed it for me.

It turned out that performing an OBD2 diagnostic was the cause. Resetting the system readiness with a diagnostic tool cleared the error, and the readiness checks completed normally. The workshop did it for free, so the repair cost was 0€.

I had something similar happen with my 2016 Opel Astra after an emissions test. Is your check engine light on?
