Fiat Panda Heating Output Too Low
Summary of the thread
A 2000 Fiat Panda diesel was experiencing low heating output, potentially linked to an error stored in the error memory. The issue was suspected to be related to the solar sensor, specifically its cable and plug connections. After checking with a workshop, it was confirmed that a defective cable connection was the cause, and the problem was resolved by repairing it.

Cable and plug connections, huh? Where exactly is that located? Is it easy to get to? I'm not super technical, but I can usually manage basic stuff.

It's a bit fiddly to get to, tucked away on the dashboard. To be honest, given the symptoms and your comfort level, you might want to get a professional to take a look. Could be a defective cable.

Thanks! I took it to a workshop. Turns out the cable connection was indeed defective as predicted. 95€ later and it's fixed. I appreciate the help!

Yeah, I had similar heating problems in my Panda. Sounds like the solar sensor. Have you checked the sensor's cable and plug connections? That's a common issue.
