Fiat Panda Poor Engine Start

My 2006 Fiat Panda (gasoline engine) with 200465 km is having issues. It starts poorly, fuel consumption is higher, and engine power is reduced. I've also noticed uneven idling, sometimes stalling completely. I suspect a fuel delivery issue, maybe a dirty injection nozzle valve. Anyone seen this?

Summary of the thread

Wow, those are almost exactly the same symptoms I had with my Panda! I thought it was something else at first, but the uneven idling was the giveaway. Higher fuel consumption too. What did you check so far?

Beyond a quick look for leaks, not much yet. I was going to test the injectors individually. What did you do to fix it?

Honestly, I'm no expert, so I took it straight to a workshop. They confirmed it was a faulty injector – apparently, they can get really gunked up. Best to get it sorted professionally, they've got the right tools to clean or replace them.

Thanks for sharing. I took it to a mechanic who confirmed a defective injection nozzle and did the repairs. Total cost was 515€. The car runs smoothly now.
