Fiat Panda running lean
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Fiat Panda with a gasoline engine is experiencing issues such as reduced power, a check engine light, rough running, and jerking during acceleration, indicating it is running lean. The problem could be due to a defective injection valve, as suggested by a similar case where a faulty injector was identified as the cause. After diagnostics, it was confirmed that the fuel injectors were indeed the issue, leading to their repair.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thanks. Did you have similar symptoms? Did you do a diagnostics test before suspecting the mass air flow sensor or catalytic converter? Trying to narrow things down.

Yeah, exact same symptoms. I took it straight to the workshop. Turned out to be a faulty injector. Saved me a lot of hassle.

I had the car diagnosed and the fault was indeed with the fuel injectors. The repair cost was 515€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Hey, I had similar issues with my Panda. Check engine light, jerking... sounds familiar. Did you check the mass air flow sensor or maybe the catalytic converter? Could also be related to the air-fuel ratio.
