Fiat Petra Bluetooth Connection Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Fiat Petra owner experienced issues connecting their smartphone to the car's infotainment system, with a diagnostic scan revealing an error. The problem was suspected to be due to incorrect pairing. A suggestion was made to unpair all devices from both the car and smartphone to resolve the issue. Ultimately, the solution involved visiting a workshop where a software glitch in the Bluetooth module was fixed through re-initialization.

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you remember the specific error code? Also, when you say 'unpairing all devices,' do you mean from both the car's Bluetooth settings and my smartphone's Bluetooth settings?

Dude, I don't remember the exact code, it was just some generic connection error. And yeah, I mean deleting the connection from both your phone and the car's system, like starting fresh. Honestly, though, if it's still acting up, just take it to a workshop. It’s probably just some software glitch they can fix quickly.

I appreciate the insights. I went to a workshop. It was a software glitch that needed a re-initialization of the Bluetooth module. The repair cost was 45€.

Hey! I have a Petra too, though I'm not sure what year. I had the same exact problem, couldn't get my phone to connect and some weird error code popped up. Did you try unpairing all devices and starting from scratch? Sometimes that fixes it for me.
