Fiat Petra Loud Exhaust Noise

I'm experiencing louder exhaust noise than usual on my 2017 Fiat Petra gasoline, especially after a cold start, along with a generally noisy engine. The error memory shows a fault related to the exhaust flaps. Mileage is at 169151 km. I suspect the exhaust flap itself is defective, or maybe the flap actuator. Anyone experienced similar problems with the exhaust flaps, flap motor or other exhaust components?

Yep, had something similar on my old Volvo. Loud exhaust and error codes pointing to exhaust valves. Check the flap actuator, could be the culprit.

Pretty much identical symptoms, yeah. I didn't bother with individual components, straight to the workshop.

Appreciate the input! Took it to the shop as you suggested, exhaust flap was indeed defective. Replaced it, and the noise is gone, error cleared. Total cost was 190€ Thanks again!
