Good idea! I hadn't thought about cleaning the contacts. When you had the issue with your Corsa, was it intermittent like mine, or was the light always on? And where was the faulty connection on your Opel?

On my Corsa, it started intermittently, then became more frequent until the light stayed on pretty much all the time. I checked the basics, but I just took it to a workshop. It was a corroded connector. If you're not super confident, get a professional to look at it.

Thanks! I'll try cleaning the contact first, but if that doesn't work, it's going to the shop. It was a defective cable to the sensor, costing me 95€.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Opel Corsa, different car I know, but the symptoms were almost identical. Warning lights related to oil temperature, and the error memory was full. Did you check the sensor's wiring harness? Maybe try cleaning the contacts with some electrical contact cleaner?
