Fiat Siena Diesel Rough Engine
Summary of the thread
The 2011 Fiat Siena diesel is experiencing a rough engine and a check engine light, with an OBD scanner showing a 'reset quantity drift compensation' error. This issue is likely related to a fuel injection problem, possibly involving a failing injector or sensor. It is recommended to use a diagnostic tool to monitor injector performance in real-time, but due to the complexity, consulting a qualified mechanic is advised. The problem was resolved by addressing the injection valve/injector, and the car is now running smoothly.

When you say 'injector values' and 'live data,' do you mean using a diagnostic tool to monitor each injector in real-time? Where can I find the factory specs? I'm not sure I can check this myself.

Yes, exactly. Without the right equipment and knowledge, it'll be tough to diagnose further. Given the symptoms, error, and your limitations, I'd recommend a qualified mechanic. The repair cost me 515€.

Understood. Thanks for the guidance. I'll book a mechanic. It was indeed the injection valve/injector. The car's running fine now.

The symptoms and error code suggest a fuel injection problem. Drift compensation is the ECU trying to balance injector performance. Have you checked the injector values? Are they within factory spec? It could be a failing injector, but live data would help confirm.
