Fiesta height control restricted error

I'm having a weird issue with my 2023 Ford Fiesta diesel. Mileage is at 167085 km. Got a 'height control restricted' error. The warning light is on, and the low beams are acting strange, pointing too high or low. I also noticed the car sits unevenly, front to back, and the ride is super bumpy. I've scanned for errors and something's stored. Anyone else experienced this?

Sounds familiar! I've got a Fiesta too, though not the latest model. Had similar symptoms – the uneven height and weird headlight behavior. In my case, it was the height adjustment messing up the air suspension; the leveling system was all over the place.

Interesting. So, what exactly was the problem on yours? Was it difficult to diagnose? Any specific parts that needed replacing?

Turns out it was a defective control rod on the sensor, common issue apparently. Best to get it checked at a workshop. They can pinpoint the exact problem with the control module.

Thanks for the info! Took it to the workshop, and you nailed it – defective control rod on the sensor. Repair cost me around 110€.
