Figo running rich

Hi, my 2012 Ford Figo, gasoline engine, is running way too rich. I'm seeing reduced power, the check engine light, rough running, terrible fuel consumption, and jerking when I accelerate. Mileage is at 224367 km. Anyone else run into this?

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms on my Figo. Check engine light, rough idle... Does it smell strongly of fuel?

Yeah, it does smell like fuel. What was the issue with yours?

Mine turned out to be faulty fuel injectors. I'd get it checked by a workshop, they can test them properly.

Thanks! I took it to the shop, and you were right – injectors. Replaced them, cost me 515€, runs like new. Appreciate the insight!
