I own a 2007 Fiat Fiorino diesel. I'm experiencing a rich engine condition with reduced power, check engine light, rough running, poor fuel economy, and jerking during acceleration. I suspect a faulty injector valve. Any advice?

I had a similar issue with my Fiorino. Check engine light was on, and it felt like the engine was struggling. Did you check the error code? Mine was pointing to the injection system.

Turned out to be a defective injector. I'd suggest getting it properly diagnosed at a workshop. Cost me around 500€ to get it sorted, new injector and labour.

Thank you for the information. I visited the workshop today and it was indeed a defective injector, like you said. The repair cost was 515€.
