Fiorino Limp Mode ABS Issue

Cheers! Traction control light DOES come on, yeah! Fault codes... right, I need to get a reader, don't I? What's the deal with the gear selector?

Right, the traction control light coming on at the same time is a big clue. It's all linked. If the ABS is throwing a wobbly, it can mess with the traction control and then bam, limp mode. The gear selector, I just meant sometimes they get a bit sticky. Give it a jiggle between park, neutral, drive. But seriously, get it to a workshop. Best to get those fault codes read and see what's what before you do anything more drastic. Could be consequential faults from the ABS.

Spot on! I took it to the shop, turns out you were right on the money. They checked the ABS and reset a few things. All good now, cost me nothing!

I had something similar happen in my Fiorino. Limp mode is the pits, isn't it? Does your traction control light come on at the same time? Have you checked for any fault codes? Could be something simple, but those gearboxes are notorious for torque converter issues if they're not looked after. Also, give your gear selector a wiggle, just in case!
