Fiorino low heat water valve
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Fiat Fiorino diesel exhibited low cabin heat and an error code, leading to suspicion of a faulty water valve. The issue was potentially linked to the cooling system, with a suggestion to inspect the wiring and plug connections. Upon checking, a bad plug connection was identified and replaced, resolving the heating issue and clearing the error code.

Is a visual inspection enough for the wiring and plug, or should I do more? Is error code interpretation standardized, or is it specific to Fiat?

A visual check might show obvious damage, but test the connection with a multimeter if you can. Error codes are fairly standardized (OBD-II). Fiat might have its own subcodes. If you get a 'P' code (like P0128), search online for 'P0128 Fiat'. If you're not comfortable, a workshop is the next step to diagnose the valve.

Following your advice, I found a bad plug connection on the water valve. Replacing the plug and wiring cost 95€. The heat works now, and the error is gone. Thanks for the help!

I haven't seen that specifically on a Fiorino, but low heat and error codes together usually mean cooling system trouble. Before replacing the water valve, check the wiring and plug. A bad connection can look like valve failure. What's the error code? That might help.
