Fiorino Power Window Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Fiat Fiorino diesel experienced a power window failure, with both windows non-functional and a generic error code indicating a 'window control malfunction.' Possible causes included a faulty window regulator, a defective power window switch, or wiring issues. After checking the fuses and considering the simultaneous failure of both windows, the defective power window switch was identified as the likely culprit. The issue was resolved at a workshop for 200€.

Fuses are fine. Where exactly is the window regulator located? And could it really be both windows at once? The error code is pretty generic, just says 'window control malfunction'.

The regulator is inside the door panel, part of the window mechanism. If both windows went at the same time, it's less likely to be the motors themselves. Given the generic error and both failing, a defective power window switch is a strong possibility. Could also be a wiring issue. Might be best to get it checked at a workshop to pinpoint it. I'd say 200€ is a fair price for the job.

Thanks for the help! Took it to a shop, and you were right, it was the switch. Cost me 200€ to get it sorted.

Sounds like it could be the window regulator, or maybe just a dodgy switch. Have you checked the fuses? Also, does the error code give any more specific info?
