Fluence AC and Temperature Sensor Issue

I'm having trouble with my 2016 Renault Fluence with a gasoline engine at 192617 kilometers. Diagnostics say it's a defective temperature sensor in the heat exchanger. I get an error code, a warning on the speedometer, and the AC won't turn on. Could this be the AC control unit? Has anyone else seen this?

Completely unresponsive AC and a generic warning... Yes, that sounds familiar. In my case, it pointed to a faulty climate control unit. I couldn't fix it myself. Have you considered a trusted workshop? They can test the system and give you a diagnosis.
