Fluence check engine light air intake issue

Hi, my 2011 Renault Fluence with a gasoline engine has the check engine light on. It has 209104 km. The engine seems to stall, and I suspect it's the air intake system, maybe vacuum hoses or the throttle body. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my 2013 Opel Astra, also gasoline. Check engine light, and it was a defective hose connection from the pump to the air valve. Have you checked the small hoses around the throttle body and air valve? A tiny crack can cause big problems.

Thanks! I'm not sure how to check the small hoses by the throttle body and air valve. Any specific area I should focus on? How did you find out the hose was defective?

A mechanic looked at it. It was a small vacuum hose near the air valve. Honestly, it's best to go to a workshop. They should diagnose it quickly using a smoke machine.

The workshop confirmed it was a defective hose connecting the pump to the air valve, like you said. Repair cost 175€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I'll consult the experts earlier next time.
