Fluence Diesel Rough Running

My 2009 Renault Fluence diesel has started running roughly at 75235 kilometers, and the check engine light is on. The error memory shows an error related to reset quantity drift compensation. I suspect a defective injection valve or injector. Has anyone else seen this, and can offer guidance before I dig deeper into airflow sensors or onboard diagnostics?

Rough running on a diesel and a check engine light? Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen a while back with my old Peugeot. Same symptoms, though the error code was different. Have you tried any performance tuning or compensation adjustments before this started? Maybe something fuel injection related?

Thanks for the quick response. Could you elaborate on the issue you encountered with your Peugeot? Were there any diagnostic steps or tests that helped pinpoint the root cause, especially relating to the fuel injection system?

Alright, no worries. Pretty sure it was an injector issue too. I tried a few things but honestly, I just bit the bullet and took it to a trusted workshop eventually. Best bet is to get it properly diagnosed. It might cost you around 515€, but it's better than messing something else up.

I appreciate the information and advice. It appears a visit to a reputable workshop is indeed warranted. I will proceed accordingly and report back with the findings and resolution for the benefit of the community. Thanks again.
