Fluence erratic lights
Summary of the thread
The 2015 Renault Fluence diesel is experiencing erratic light behavior and an error code, potentially due to a faulty light switch. A similar issue in another vehicle was caused by a loose cable connection to the light switch. The suggested solution is to check and repair the cable connections, which resolved the problem in this case.

So, a loose connection caused the light issues in your Astra? Was it difficult to access and check the connections myself, or is that something best left to the professionals?

In my experience, yes, a loose connection was all it was. I'm not a mechanic, so I took it straight to the workshop. They diagnosed it pretty quickly. I would advise you to do the same.

Thanks for the advice! I went to the workshop. Turns out, the cable connection to the light switch was indeed defective, just like you suggested. They repaired it, and the total cost was 95€. Everything is working perfectly now!

That sounds frustrating. I had a similar problem with my 2012 Opel Astra; the lights were doing all sorts of weird things. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the light switch? That was the culprit in my case.
