Fluence fuel pressure issue

Yes, there's a slight rough idle. I haven't checked the fuel rail pressure directly, but suspect it might be the problem. If the pressure regulator is defective, could that also negatively impact fuel efficiency?

Absolutely, a defective regulator will disrupt the fuel-air mixture, causing poor fuel efficiency, rough idle and stalling. Considering the error occurred post filter change, and given the symptoms, regulator failure is likely. Best to confirm the pressure readings and then get it replaced at a workshop.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I had the fuel pressure regulator replaced; cost 45€. The stalling and power loss are gone, and the check engine light is off.

A faulty fuel pressure regulator could definitely cause those issues, especially after a filter change. Are you seeing any engine misfires or a rough idle alongside the power loss? Have you checked the fuel rail pressure readings?
