Fluence headlight and windshield washer failure
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Renault Fluence owner experienced a failure in both the headlight cleaning system and windshield washer. Initial checks of the fuses showed no issues, leading to a suspicion of a cable connection problem with the pump or relay. A suggestion to check for leaks or clogs in the water lines was considered, but the issue was ultimately confirmed to be a defective pump connection, which was resolved at a workshop.

A leak causing a clog, you say? Interesting thought. Where exactly should I be looking for potential leaks or clogs in the system?

Yeah, that's what I'd check first! If there's no leaks, try checking the washer pump. If you can't find anything wrong with the pump, go straight to the workshop.

Thanks a lot for the advice! Turned out to be a defective pump connection as we suspected. Workshop visit confirmed and fixed it. Cost me 165€.

Hey! I had a similar issue on my Fluence. Could a leak have caused a clog? Did you check the water lines?
