Fluence Overheating and Slow Warm Up

Hey! Sounds like the drama I had with my Fluence. Symptoms are identical. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. Did you check the temperature sensor readings? Mine were all over the place. Could also be a sticky water pump, but those usually make a racket before they die.

Yeah, the readings were jumping all over the place, totally erratic. My mechanic said it was classic map thermostat failure. Apparently, they’re a known weak spot. It messes with the whole coolant system and temperature control. I'd bet that's your culprit too. Get it checked out at a workshop, before it cooks something important!
