Focus diesel blower motor AUC sensor fault

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2018 Ford Focus diesel. The blower motor is completely non-functional. Diagnostics point to an AUC sensor fault. Given the symptoms, I suspect a defective cable or plug connection to the component. I’ve checked the usual suspects, but the issue persists. Has anyone else encountered this?

The AUC sensor's role is paramount for climate control, especially in auto recirculation mode. Do you perceive any error codes related to the HVAC system beyond the AUC sensor fault itself? Furthermore, are the sensor's readings within an acceptable range, or are they displaying anomalous values?

The error code is specifically related to the AUC sensor, no other HVAC related codes are present. As for the sensor readings, without a functioning blower motor, I'm unable to accurately assess real-time values under varying conditions. Is there a known diagnostic procedure specific to this sensor that might bypass the need for a functioning blower?

Given the isolated error code and the inability to validate sensor readings, it does appear the root cause lies within the sensor's circuit. Like a faulty wire in a complex electrical network, tracing the exact point of failure requires specialized tools. Therefore, assessment by a qualified workshop is advisable.

Understood. I appreciate the insight. I took it to a workshop and indeed, the cable to the AUC sensor was defective, as suspected. Repair cost including the new cable and labor was 95€. Thanks!
