Focus Electric Smartphone Pairing Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Ford Focus Electric owner is experiencing issues connecting their smartphone to the car, suspecting a pairing problem. Despite attempts to delete and re-pair the phone, the issue persists. A suggestion was made to check for software glitches in the car's communication module, as a similar problem was resolved in another vehicle through a reset at a shop. The owner plans to visit a shop to investigate potential software issues.

Thanks, I've tried deleting and re-pairing multiple times, but it's still not working. What fixed it on your BMW?

That's a bummer. For me, it was a software glitch in the car's communication module. A reset at the shop fixed it. Might be worth checking. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take it to a shop and have them check for software issues. I reset the error memory and the repair cost 45€. Thanks!

I had something similar with my old BMW, Bluetooth was totally wonky. Have you tried deleting the phone from the car's system and re-pairing?
