Focus transmission shifting issues

My 2017 Ford Focus diesel is having transmission issues at 118251 km. Implausible shifting, transmission light on, and it went into emergency mode. I suspect worn auto transmission oil, maybe from undervoltage. Anyone seen this?

Sounds rough. Is the slipping consistent, or only under certain conditions? Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level? Low fluid can cause weirdness with automatic gearboxes.

Slipping is more noticeable during upshifts, especially when the engine's cold. Where would I find the transmission fluid dipstick on this model? I've looked, but no luck.

The Focus can be a pain. I had similar symptoms once, turned out to be low voltage. Not always the fluid itself. Check the voltage and then get it to a workshop for diagnosis to prevent major damage.

Voltage was the problem, starving the transmission. Oil change and system reset later, she's shifting smooth. Bill was 240€.
