Focus Unclean Gear Shifts

I had something similar with my Focus, though I can't remember what year it is. Check for any oil leakage around the transfer case first. Are you losing any transfer fluid?

Look for wetness or grime buildup around the seals. And yes, it was the transfer case. Honestly, get it to a workshop. It's probably better to have it checked by a pro.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. Took it to the shop, and you were right. The transfer case had mechanical wear and needed fixing. Cost me 330€. It's all sorted now!
