Ford Edge Overheating and Coolant Leak

Hey, I've got a 2018 Ford Edge diesel with 71026 km. Engine's overheating, check engine light's on, and I'm seeing coolant spillage, so it looks like excessive pressure. Diagnostics say it's a control unit communication error, probably a bad cable or plug. Anyone seen this before?

I had a similar control unit communication fault with my 2016 Audi A4. Diagnostic pointed to the CAN bus. Have you checked the wiring harness for damage or corrosion? Could be a simple wiring issue.

Thanks. Can you say where the wiring harness was problematic? Also, did you do the diagnostic yourself, or did a pro do it?

I couldn't find the exact fault location. Given the CAN bus complexity, I'd suggest a workshop. They can pinpoint it.
