Ford Edge rough engine running

Hi, I have a 2021 Ford Edge diesel with 122303 km on the clock. I'm getting rough engine running, the check engine light, and an error about "reset quantity drift compensation." Could this be a fuel injection issue? Maybe a defective injector?

Sounds familiar! I've had similar issues with my Edge. Has anyone suggested checking the injection valves? It could be a compensation adjustment gone awry. Is it consistently rough, or only at certain speeds?

Thanks for the quick reply! It's mostly rough at lower speeds, and the error seems to pop up more when the engine is cold. When you say "compensation adjustment," do you mean a full system reset, or is there something simpler I can try?

When mine was doing that, a reset didn't solve anything, unfortunately. The garage pointed to a defective injector. Considering the error and symptoms, I’d suggest getting it checked by a workshop sooner rather than later. Ignoring it could lead to bigger problems!

Thanks for the heads-up! I appreciate the advice. It's booked in for a check-up next week. As suspected the injection valve/injector was defective, costing 515€. Now everything is running smoothly again.
