Ford Edge Transmission Issues

My 2019 Ford Edge diesel is giving me trouble. The transmission and check engine lights are on, and the automatic transmission is in emergency mode. It's slipping, shifts are unclean, and I hear grinding noises. The error memory shows a defective radiator oil pressure. I suspect a bad cable or plug connection. Has anyone seen this?

I had similar symptoms on my Ford Edge automatic. The transmission wasn't shifting smoothly, and a light came on. Check for leaks around the radiator or cooling system. Inspect the pressure gauge and coolant levels too.

You had the same transmission issues related to the radiator or cooling system? Where were the leaks, or was it general? Was the pressure gauge involved?

My experience is very similar. I wouldn't self-diagnose this. Given the error code and symptoms, get it professionally inspected at a qualified workshop. They can do a leak detection and pressure test to find the cause.

Turns out there was a defective cable connection leading to radiator oil pressure problems, like I thought. A quick repair, and 95€ later, the car works like new!
